Sisters Connect
Project Launch:
Sisters Connect is a project to improve the ability of local women artisans in Touama, Morocco to connect with other artisans, markets, online markets, and potential customers. In Touama, computers are mostly in the hands of the wealthy and government officials, and women are not permitted in Internet cafes, which are usually locations where men gather. This project will equip a group of women artisans with the tools - computers + Internet access - as well as the training to learn to navigate online in order to promote their crafts and businesses.
