The Luzon Brokerage Cooperation (LBC) is a well-known delivery service provider in the Philippines, bringing mail and packages to families all across the country. When a LBC carrier appears in a community, a wave of excitement radiates as the people secretly hope to be brought goods or news from loved ones working afar. The Buenavista National High School Environmental Club is using the concept of delivery in their plan to spread environmental awareness throughout their community. Little Big Change (LBC) was a mobile project aimed at educating rural communities of Buenavista about the effects of improper waste management and to offer alternative solutions. Buenavista, located on one of the thousands of islands peppered throughout the Philippine Archipelago, in the most biologically diverse area on the planet, is threatened by the mismanagement of waste and pollution. The Club identified solid waste management as a concern in their town and produced an awareness video, aimed for a youth audience and traveled around to other communities where they delivered videos they produced (in their native language) and conducted a workshop regarding solid waste management. The Club members were responsible for video design, production, and presentation, along with the discussion and follow-up activities held afterwards.
