In the Paraiso de Osorio community there are limited opportunities for leisure activities for kids and no locations for youth to safely gather such as a park or community center. When not in school or working, youth pass the time watching television, hanging out on their porches or in the street. In 2010, World Connect's Kids to Kids Program supported Creative Day Camp:

Having Fun While Learning! In this program, young people were able to develop their skills in critical thinking, problem solving, creativity and teamwork through art project, health related mini-lessons, cooperative games and sports activities. The camp provided older youth the opportunity to fulfill leadership roles by serving as team captains and to lead and/or monitor camp activities. The skills these young people developed at camp carried over into their everyday lives as they saw that their enhanced self-esteem helped them fill leadership roles in the community. Basketball was one of the most popular programs that was started and it started out small with a few short games during camp activities, but the older youth (ages 12-20) have become more interested in the game and have now started to play regularly in the afternoons thanks to World Connect’s grant. This group is currently in the process of organizing a community tournament
