Project Launch:
The Dar Chebab (Youth Center) and the health center in the southern Moroccan community of Kelaat M'gouna are partnering with World Connect to host the first ever HIV/AIDS Awareness Skit Competition. More than 100 local youth will be participating by developing skits, poems or theatre centered on HIV/AIDS prevention education, to be performed in front of more than 200 community members. After the competition, the participants will become youth community health promoters, trained by the health center, and will be monitoring changes in attitudes and behavior in the community related to sexual health.
