Tanoboase is a part of the Techiman District of Brong Ahafo region and has a population of 3,500. Konadu Foundation’s local school has grown to more than 250 students with 15 teachers and staff. Many of students are quite poor and unable to afford tuition or books. Konadu does not charge fees for its students. In order to increase learning and efficacy of instruction, the foundation is seeking the construction of an ICT Center. Once established, it will host a library of e-books including textbooks and language learning software for students.

Project Update: 11-5-18

The exterior walls of the computer laboratory have been constructed. Steel girders have been placed underneath the superstructure to stabilize the site.

Final Report: 11-29-18

The computer lab has been organized with 10 computers, a combination of desktops and laptops. The staff has been teaching the students and teachers how to effectively use the machines. All parties are excited with many who stay after school and use the computers before leaving home from classes. 60 students now have access to computing resources.
