Mwelero CBCC project
Project Launch: 11-1-23
In order to reduce illiteracy levels in their community, Mndembo village committee seeks to use a $8,946.20 World Connect investment to build a Community Based Child Care center at Mwelero in Traditional Authority Msakambewa in Dowa district. The project is expected to provide a conducive learning environment for 150 children who are in the early childhood development stage of school. This will ably prepare the children for primary school and improve the overall literacy rate as they will be able to read and write.
