The vast majority of the children in Pavon, Costa Rica, have never participated in any form of organized recreation. A $500 grant from World Connect’s Kids to Kids program in 2009 provided a camp experience for kids that emphasized sports and cultural activities and facilitated a youth-led painting of two beautiful murals Students learned new sports and participated in theater and music programming. Both the adult supervisors and the children reported having a great time at the camp.Explore other Projects
