About this Project
World Connect is providing a third year of focused project support to a project that has established a cadre of young Moroccan journalists. This goal of the project is to ensure the sustainability of the Ouarzazate E-News youth journalism club, which has been extremely successful in providing new skills and opportunity for participants to grow as journalists and professionals. This project reflects a unique passing of the baton from the original Peace Corps Volunteer who launched the project to a new local leader, a young Moroccan who was a participant in the first year of World Connect funding (2010).
