Enterprising Mothers for a Promising Future
Project Launch:
In the rural town of San Joaqin de Nicoya, on Costa Rica's Nicoya Peninsula, young mothers, ages fifteen to twenty-five years old lack training and support regarding income-generating activities, as well as support in their personal development to ensure that they have the knowledge to raise their children happy and healthy. World Connect is partnering with Youth with a Mission to train thirty young mothers on skills related to microbusiness, positive child development strategies, and tools in healthy behavior management to ensure the promise of healthier, safer and more secure women.

"I have really enjoyed this course so far. I have learned that starting a business is a whole process, that it requires more than just deciding to start one!" - Joselyn, 16, project participant
