Camp L.E.A.D. (Leaders that are Equipped And Dedicated)
Project Launch:
The 3,000+ student population at Pototan National Comprehensive High School (PNCHS) is partnering with World Connect to run Camp LEAD (Leaders that are Equipped and Dedicated) in June 2012. The camp will provide leadership training to 30 of the school's brightest students, including all 12 members of the school's student government. The camp will focus on studying leadership styles, setting goals, communication, making healthy life choices and building self-esteem. Camp participants will return to their school and "echo" the camp twice in July and November, and train other aspiring student leaders not able to participate in Camp LEAD to be leaders and "echo" the camp again in the following school year. With the school's support and the student's experience, Camp LEAD will take place at PNCHS for years to come.
